Pedestrian Self Organization When many pedestrians walk together in two-ways (or more), pedestrians do self organize by automatically creating several lanes in their walk path.
Result of the Microscopic Pedestrian Simulation diagram (above) shows the exact similarity of Self Organization Phenomena as seen in the real world speed diagram (below). Regulating the pedestrian self organization behavior was applied to a pedestrian crossing simulation which produce better result.
