What is Complex Plane?
A real number can be represented as a point in a line.
In contrast, a complex number can be represented graphically as a point in complex plane. The horizontal axis of a complex plane is the real part and the vertical axis of a complex plane is the imaginary part. Complex plane is also called Argand diagram (after French mathematician Jean Robert Argand (1806).
