Non Linear Regression: Square Root Curve

Data: Logarithmic Curve

Using the same data as other curves, we may want to try another model: square root model ( Square Root Curve ). To do model transformation, first we need to transform the x values of our data into Square Root Curve so that the transformed model is Square Root Curve . There is no transformation of model parameters in this case.

When we plot sqrt(x) and y, we can obtain almost exact linear model with higher R-squared of 0.9999. The square root model is therefore Square Root Curve
